Prof. Tirumala Vangipuram Gopala Chary has always been driven by a deep passion for teaching and knowledge-sharing—an enduring force that has defined his academic journey. Over the years, he has had the privilege of guiding and mentoring students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, taking pride in their growth and success across various professional fields. His academic interests are deeply rooted in the study of tribal communities, with a special focus on their socio-cultural dynamics, political participation, leadership patterns, rights, and their integration into broader development and policy frameworks. His scholarly work further explores key themes such as rural development, environmental consciousness, gender issues, and socio-political transformations in West Asia.

In support of his teaching and research, Prof. Chary has published over fifty scholarly articles in reputed national and international journals and has presented numerous papers at academic conferences. Notable works include “Political Participation Among Tribal Leaders of Madhya Pradesh,” “Tribal Attitudes Towards Leadership,” and “The Impact of Industrial Pollution in Telangana.” His global perspective is reflected in research on West Asian geopolitics and peace processes, with titles such as “Jerusalem – Whose City Is It?”, “Palestine After Arafat,” and “Women’s Education in Afghanistan – A Retrospect.” Several of these papers have been presented at international conferences, including those held in Germany and the United States.
